I am a Certified Life and Career Coach, Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Layoff Coach and Consultant,  Time Management Coach, and Trained Recovery Coach

You might have landed on this page expecting to find a list of my achievements, qualifications, and previous jobs. If that's what you're looking for, I've included that at the bottom of this page and you can also visit my LinkedIn profile.

However, I'd like to take this opportunity to share a bit about why I decided to become a coach and the journey that brought me here. My ability to connect with and assist my clients effectively stems from my personal story.

At some point, we all find ourselves feeling stuck.

We may not know how to change or what exactly we want to change, and we struggle to find direction, leading us to give up. I worked at a job for many years – one that I was unhappy with, but it was easy, safe, and comfortable. At times, I realized I wasn't content and felt that the environment was toxic, with no room for growth. However, I didn't know how to fix it or maybe I wasn't ready to. I did what many of us do: nothing. I became negative, complacent, and complained a lot. In short, I became a person that I didn't want to be. I live in an amazing city, with so much to do and so many people to meet, yet I was unhappy and watching my life pass me by.

In 2013, my life unexpectedly changed when I was laid off from my job.

Although it wasn't my decision to leave, it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me. I am thankful for that day because it actually changed my life for the better. At the time, I couldn't see it, but it was. I had to take the opportunity to reflect on my life, identify what would bring me happiness, and find a way to pursue it. I had to go through a journey to get to where I am today, personally and professionally. It took a lot of work. I was vulnerable, scared, suffered from imposter syndrome, and I was so unsure about who I was and where I was going.

With the help of a career coach, I began to do the work to step out of my comfort zone and figure out what I wanted to do.

At one point, my coach asked me if I had ever thought about becoming a coach myself. That question seemed odd to me at first, but when we talked further about it, something clicked. A light went on. I had that "aha" moment that I never thought I'd have or ever had before, and it became clear to me that coaching was what I should be doing.

In 2014, I founded Amy Bloustine Coaching.

Throughout my career as a coach, I have not only helped my clients change their lives but also experienced a complete transition and transformation of my own. I could not have done this without working with a coach and the personal work I did with a therapist. I am now happy, fulfilled, and confident that I am fulfilling my purpose. My ultimate goal is to help others achieve the same.

I am sincerely interested in you and endlessly curious about your life and how we can collaborate to enhance it. I will invest the time to help you fully explore who you are and who you want to be while fostering our time together for growth,  compassion, and empathy. If you are ready, I would love to hear from you. If you are not, that’s okay; you can reach out to me when the time is right.
